Knitting Experiences
Why Knitting?
Learning a new skill, even a simple one, builds confidence. Stitch by stitch you will see progress, learn from your mistakes., and if you stick with it you'll have made something which is very satisfying.
Knitting settles the mind by bringing you into the present moment and back to your senses; this is the perfect example of what it means to be mindful and put it into practice.

Perhaps the most subtle, best part, knitting can travel with you everywhere--on planes, in waiting rooms, in quiet evenings--long after our sessions end.
For Beginners
Step 1: Meet and Choose (90 minutes)
We meet at a local yarn shop (unless you already have materials), explore fibers and begin knitting my signature beginner project.*

Step 2: Continue (60 minutes)
Follow-up sessions are one hour of relaxed knitting and guidance as you build comfort with the rhythm.

*Signature Beginner Project
A simple knitted coaster set--small satisfying pieces you can finish quickly and repeat as you like. Wrap a set with a bow and you have a beautiful, handmade gift.
For Experienced Knitters
Option 1: Companion Knitting
Bring your own project and join me for a cozy, shared knitting session. We knit side by side with gentle conversation or quiet focus.

Option 2: Project Support
If you'd like to begin something new, we can meet at a yarn shop, choose the project and materials together and I'll guide you through one of my simple, favorite projects.

Scheduling and Location
Knitting experiences are arranged by mutual agreement rather than a fixed schedule. After you reach out, we'll look at our calendars and find a time that works for us both.

First sessions meet at a local yarn shop (unless you already have materials and a project). Follow up sessions take place in a cozy, indoor space, outdoor patio or another calm location by mutual agreement.
Knitting in Nature Experience
If a touch of luxury in the beauty of nature is what you're after, this experience is for you. These knitting gatherings are a calm, supportive space for anyone who wants a healthy pause from stress and daily pressure. Knitting has helped me through difficult periods in my own life, and I offer this experience as a simple, grounding practice we can share.

If this feels like something you would enjoy, you are welcome to reach out. Text is the best way to contact me, as I'm not always able to listen to voicemail.
